Enameling

Students will learn metal preparation, counter enameling and the proper sifting of enamels.  
The use of liquid enamel, stencils and sgraffito will be covered. Torch firing and kiln firing will be done in this workshop. An assortment of unleaded opaque and transparent enamels are provided.

SUPPLIES TO BRING:
- Copper sheet or stampings in 18 ga. or 20ga
- 2/0 saw blades
- Dust mask
- 100 mesh & 150 mesh sifters if you have them
- Enamels in your favorite colors if you have them
- Samples of enamels that you may have done


The studio provides free coffee and water through out the workshop.
Pack a lunch or bring cash to order lunch each day.
There is a refrigerator and microwave for your use.
